Door Supervisor
Introduction
The SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor Course is essential for obtaining a license to work as a Door Supervisor or Security Guard in the UK. This course provides comprehensive training in door supervision, conflict management, counter-terrorism awareness, and physical intervention skills, among others. A valid emergency first aid certificate is also a mandatory requirement before taking part in any Door Supervisor course.
Eligibility for the Course
Must be 18 years or older.
Minimum English Level 1 reading, writing, and speaking knowledge.
Two proof of address documents (bank statement, utility bill, council tax bill).
One form of photo identification (passport or driving license).
An Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, which is included in our Door Supervisor with First Aid package.
Duration of the Course
The SIA Door Supervisor course runs over a period of 6 days, requiring a minimum of 50 contact hours between the trainer and the learners. Contact hours exclude the time for assessments and breaks.
