CCTV Operator
Introduction
The SIA (Security Industry Authority) CCTV Operator Course is mandatory for getting a license to become a CCTV operator in the UK. It is necessary to hold a valid license under the Security Industry Act, 2001. This course allows a person willing to become a private CCTV operative to work in the industry. The role of CCTV is not limited to a few sectors; it has a broader role in various industries. The SIA CCTV Operator Course aims to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for those who wish to obtain a valid CCTV operative license. This course also enables learners to pursue further courses such as door supervision and security guarding.
Eligibility for the Course
A learner must be 18 years or older.
A learner must be 18 years or older.Minimum English Level 1 language skills or B1 Level or Level 1 at ESOL.
Must provide one identity document (like a passport) and two proofs of address.
Duration of the Course
The SIA CCTV Operator course spans over three (3) days, requiring a minimum of 23 guided and contact hours to maintain learning between the trainer and the learners. Distance learning components may also be included.
